Islip High School student actors Skylar Greene and Daniel Rubinson were recently named finalists for the prestigious Roger Rees Award for Outstanding Performer in a Musical for Suffolk County. Greene was nominated for her role as Sally Brown, and Rubinson for his role as Charlie Brown, both in the school’s 2024 musical production of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.” Roger Rees Awards are statewide, with winners going on to compete for the Jimmy Awards, which are national.
