Islip Students Excel at 2025 Virtual Enterprise Student Leadership Conference
Islip High School students demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and professionalism at the 2025 Virtual Enterprise NYS & NE Student Leadership Conference, held at Long Island University.
Student executives from Ms. Danielle McMullan’s two Virtual Enterprise firms, Platera and Everplay, participated in a full day of interactive learning that included networking with peers and professionals, attending a workshop on emotional intelligence, engaging with a panel of industry experts, and presenting their elevator pitches in breakout sessions.
The conference provided valuable opportunities for students to strengthen their business and communication skills, preparing them for success in future entrepreneurial and professional endeavors.
A special highlight of the event came when Siena Napolitano, Chief Operating Officer of Everplay, was selected as one of only ten students statewide to present her business pitch on the main stage at the Tilles Center. Siena’s confident delivery, thoughtful presentation, and poised leadership earned her well-deserved recognition among hundreds of participants.
The success of the Islip teams reflects the strength of the Islip High School Business Program and its commitment to fostering future leaders through hands-on, real-world learning experiences. Both Platera and Everplay continue to build momentum this year, representing the very best of Islip’s entrepreneurial spirit.
