A strong show of community support was on display as the American Legion Post welcomed students from Islip High School and partners from Chick-fil-A for a successful fundraising event.
The fundraiser, organized by Islip High School’s Business Leadership and Commerce Club, brought together students, local residents, and volunteers with a shared goal: to help modernize and improve safety at the American Legion Post.
Throughout the day, attendees stopped by to support the cause, contributing to efforts that will directly benefit the Post and its continued service to the community. The event also highlighted the power of student leadership, as club members played a key role in planning and executing the initiative.
Volunteers assisted with setup and breakdown, ensuring the event ran smoothly from start to finish. Their efforts, combined with generous community participation, made for a meaningful and productive day.
Organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone involved, from the students and community members to the partners who helped bring the fundraiser to life. The event's success reflects a shared commitment to preserving and strengthening a valued local institution.
