Islip High School proudly recognized seven outstanding student-athletes during its Spring College Student-Athlete Signing Ceremony, celebrating the next chapter in their academic and athletic journeys.

Surrounded by family members, friends, coaches, teammates, teachers, and school administrators, the students officially committed to continuing their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level.

This year’s spring signees included:

• Jasmine Fields Robinson — Acrobatics & Tumbling — Stevenson University
• Carley Albrecht — Dance — St. John's University
• Vincent Tyree — Basketball — Five Towns College
• Gavin Connell — Bowling — Mercyhurst University
• Aiden Nassire — Wrestling — Wilkes University
• Joseph Frangella — Wrestling — University of Rhode Island
• Ryan Donohue — Track & Field — SUNY Alfred

The ceremony highlighted the dedication, discipline, and perseverance each student-athlete demonstrated throughout their time at Islip High School. Administrators and coaches praised the students not only for their athletic accomplishments, but also for their leadership, sportsmanship, and commitment in the classroom.

The signing ceremony was a proud moment for the entire Islip community, as the district celebrated the students’ hard work and the exciting opportunities that await them at the collegiate level.
