Islip School District has Limited UPK Openings for 2026–2027 School Year

The Islip School District has a limited number of spots available in its Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program for the 2026–2027 school year.

The full-day program is open to children who are residents of the Islip School District and who will be four years old on or before December 1, 2026. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and follow the district's academic calendar.

The UPK program provides young learners with a strong educational foundation through engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction that prepares them for kindergarten and future academic success.

Please note that transportation is not provided, and families are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the program.

Families interested in enrolling their child are encouraged to complete the district's UPK Interest Form as soon as possible, as remaining spaces are limited.
