Islip Celebrates Hall of Fame Inductees, Community Spirit at Homecoming

School pride and community spirit took center stage during Islip’s Homecoming celebration, which featured the recognition of three new Hall of Fame members, a parade, a carnival, and a Buccaneers football victory over East Hampton.

This year’s Hall of Fame inductees, Ahmetra Davies, Jeannette Feminella and Kenny Kane, were honored for their dedication, service and lasting impact on the Islip school community. 

The Hall of Fame celebrates individuals whose meaningful contributions have helped shape the experiences of generations of Islip students and families.

The celebration brought together students, staff, faculty, administrators, Board of Education members, alumni and community members. From the parade and carnival to the excitement on the football field, Homecoming offered opportunities to reconnect, celebrate school traditions and make new memories.

The Buccaneers capped the festivities with a win over East Hampton, giving the Islip community another reason to cheer.

Congratulations to this year’s Hall of Fame honorees, and thank you to everyone who helped make Homecoming a memorable celebration.
