Board of Education Meeting - Tuesday, October 13, 2026

The Islip Board of Education will hold a regular business meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in Islip Middle School. It is anticipated that after opening the meeting the Board will convene into an executive session.

The public business portion, featuring two presentations - What's New at IMS: Expanding Opportunities for Our Students and the Smart Schools Bond Investment Plan #2 - will open in the MS auditorium at approximately 7:00 p.m. Paper copies of the agenda in English, Spanish, Pashto, and Urdu will be available at the check-in table in the lobby. In-person attendees also have the option to borrow a device that can translated the proceedings into multiple languages in real-time.

The public session will also be live streamed via the Board's YouTube channel. Any questions or comments for the Board from those planning to watch the live stream may be emailed to DistrictClerk@islipufsd.org prior to the meeting's start time. A digital version of the agenda for this meeting will be available to the public at least 48 hours beforehand through BoardDocs on the District website.
