The Islip Board of Education will hold a Budget Workshop and regular business meeting on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Islip High School. It is anticipated that after opening the meeting the Board will convene into executive session.

The public business portion of the meeting will begin at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the HS auditorium. The evening's agenda will include a sneak peak of Islip High School's production of Clue the Musical, a special student presentation on LifeVac anti-choking devices, and the first Budget Workshop for the 2025-2026 school budget, which will focus on state aid and tax levy. Paper copies of the complete agenda in English, Spanish, Pashto, and Urdu will be available at the check-in table in the lobby. In-person attendees also have the option to borrow a device that will translate the proceedings into multiple languages in real-time.

The public session will also be live streamed via the Board's YouTube channel.
