The district has appointed Cynthia Fitzgerald as assistant superintendent for human resources and administrative services. Fitzgerald began her career as a school counselor and spent 10 years as director of student support services for the Northport-East Northport School District. She most recently served as executive director of human resources at Nassau BOCES.

“I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to provide support and resources to the wonderful administrators, faculty and staff who make a difference in the lives of students every day,” said Fitzgerald.
