Students from all five of Islip’s schools – Islip High School, Islip Middle School, Commack Road Elementary School, Maud S. Sherwood Elementary School and Wing Elementary School – were celebrated for their hard work and dedication by SEPTA during a May 2 awards ceremony. Students were nominated by teachers, administrators and staff members and presented with certificates and medals to commemorate their successes.

“Congratulations to all of the recipients and their families,” Islip Middle School Dean of Students Jamie Wright said.
